Custom Cabinetry for City of Sammamish Rooms

Custom cabinetry suits homeowners, property owners, and commercial clients who need cabinets shaped around a specific room. The work may include cabinet boxes, doors, finish work, hardware, countertops, lighting, flooring, or layout changes when the wider remodel calls for them.

Customers choosing this service are deciding how much of the room should change. A cabinet-only scope may fit when the layout works. A broader remodel makes more sense when plumbing, electrical work, walls, or flooring also limit the result.

The page focuses on material and finish choices, especially the relationship between cabinet boxes, hardwood doors, painted finish, wood stain, and decorative hardware. That choice affects appearance, cleaning, daily use, and how the cabinets sit within the rest of the room.

  • Check the cabinet box condition and wall fit.
  • Choose door material and finish.
  • Match decorative hardware to the room.
  • Confirm whether countertops, lighting, flooring, or fixtures join the scope.
  • Request a quote after the cabinet scope is clear.

Select doors and finishes

Customers choose between hardwood doors, painted finish, wood stain, and decorative hardware based on the room and intended use.

4

Set the construction scope

We document the cabinet work and any connected countertops, lighting, flooring, fixtures, or layout changes.

Reasons to Use a Coordinated Cabinet Scope

Cabinet fit comes before finish

Customers get a cabinet plan that considers wall conditions, box fit, door movement, and hardware placement before finish choices take over. This service is the wrong job when the need is only a loose hinge adjustment or a small hardware repair.

Design and construction stay connected

Our design and build approach connects cabinet choices with countertops, lighting, flooring, fixtures, and layout changes. That helps customers make finish decisions with the whole room in view.

Project oversight stays documented

Licensed and insured project oversight supports the broader remodeling scope. Detailed planning and transparent communication help customers track decisions as cabinet work moves toward construction and handover.

The right door material gives the room a clear visual direction.

Best remodel experience we have ever had. The oversight, careful workmanship and ownership of the project was above expectations. Our design team was amazing. We also had the same person do all the work start to finish and was a total Pro. Could not recommend enough and will be doing any and all projects through them. This place is a gem.

After experiencing water damage in our home, we needed to replace all our flooring, some kitchen cabinets, and redo our primary bath. Linda and her team truly saved the day after a disappointing experience with another contractor. She worked closely with us to choose the perfect tiles for our bathroom and find flooring that suited our home. Her contractors did exceptional work, from leveling the floors to installation and cabinet remaking, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Linda answered all our questions along the way, and we cannot speak highly enough of the work she and her team performed!

Overall I enjoyed working with Linda and her team. Even though there were no major redesign of spaces and I knew exactly what tile/fixtures/cabinets etc I wanted I still was appreciative of her insight on certain details and choices. It was very easy to collaborate with her. She makes an effort to be in-tune with a client. She was very responsive and took care of everything that needed attention as soon as she was able too. She made sure that I was listened to and taken care of as a client with her subcontractors. I would work with her again.

Questions About Cabinet Materials and Installation

From initial intake onward, which materials and finishes are available for custom cabinetry prior to on-site work?

Plywood boxes support the cabinet structure, while hardwood doors, painted finish, wood stain, and decorative hardware shape the visible result.

  • Plywood boxes provide the base.
  • Hardwood doors add a natural door material.
  • Painted finish adds coated color.
  • Wood stain changes the tone of suitable wood.
  • Decorative hardware completes daily use and style.

We match the selection to the room and wider remodel.

How do you check whether existing cabinets should be repaired or replaced?

Existing cabinets should be checked for box condition, wall fit, door movement, hinge wear, and finish damage before repair or replacement. We also look at nearby countertops, flooring, fixtures, and layout limits. A loose hinge may need a small repair, while damaged boxes or poor fit may support a wider cabinet scope.

What should I prepare before requesting a cabinet consultation?

Room photos, rough measurements, style references, and a list of cabinet problems give the consultation a useful starting point. Customers should note which items must stay, such as countertops, appliances, plumbing, or flooring. Plans for a wider remodel also help us see whether cabinet work needs coordination with other trades.

When is a painted finish a better choice than wood stain?

Painted finish suits customers who want a solid color across the cabinet faces, while wood stain suits suitable wood parts where visible grain matters. The choice also depends on the door material, room style, cleaning needs, and nearby finishes. We review those details before the finish is added to the project scope.

Why does cabinet hardware matter after the doors are chosen?

Decorative hardware affects how doors and drawers open, where hands meet the cabinet, and how the room looks as a whole. Pulls and knobs need placement that works with the door style and nearby clearances. Customers who choose hardware early can keep the finish, door design, and daily use aligned.

Which parts of the cabinet job change the quote?

The cabinet layout, box material, door material, finish, hardware, room condition, and related trades change the quote.

Scope itemWhat it changes
Cabinet layoutAmount of cabinet work and fit planning
Doors and finishMaterial and finish decisions
Related remodelingCoordination with countertops, lighting, flooring, fixtures, plumbing, or electrical work

A consultation helps define the scope before the quote.

Can cabinet work include countertops and lighting?

Yes, cabinet work can connect with countertops and lighting when those items belong to the remodeling scope. The cabinet layout affects countertop edges, appliance positions, light placement, and access to nearby fixtures. We document the connected work so customers know which decisions belong to the cabinet portion and which require separate trade coordination.
