Review the room and existing surface
We inspect the cabinets, walls, sink area, appliances, access path, and old surface to define the work.
We fit new countertops to your kitchen or commercial workspace with careful planning and skilled finish work. Our process covers layout, measurements, material choices, and handover.
A measured surface gives the sink, walls, cabinets, and appliances a cleaner fit.
Planned seams and edge details make the worktop easier to use and maintain.
A coordinated finish helps a kitchen, office, or commercial workspace feel complete.

Countertop installation starts with the room’s working layout. We review cabinet lines, wall contact, sink placement, appliance openings, seams, and edge details before the surface is fitted. The job may include removing an old surface, preparing the cabinet base, setting the new countertop, checking the sink opening, and completing the edges. Material choice matters because each surface has different handling and care needs. A quote should account for access, removal, preparation, surface material, cutouts, seams, and finishing. We explain which parts apply to your project so the scope stays clear.
Countertop installation is a remodeling service that measures, fits, secures, and finishes a work surface over prepared cabinets.
We inspect the cabinets, walls, sink area, appliances, access path, and old surface to define the work.
We record measurements, cutouts, seams, edge profiles, and finish choices so the planned surface matches the room.
We address the base and support conditions needed for a stable fit before placing the countertop.
We place the surface, check the wall and cabinet lines, and coordinate the sink and appliance openings.
We finish the visible edges, review the completed work, and explain care points tied to the selected surface.
These details help us assess the work and prepare a more useful quote.
We record measurements, openings, seams, edge details, and agreed finish choices before countertop fitting begins.
We connect countertop measurements, cabinet preparation, surface fitting, edge work, and handover through one project plan.
We coordinate countertop fitting with related cabinet, sink, appliance, lighting, and finish work when the project requires it.
Overall I enjoyed working with Linda and her team. Even though there were no major redesign of spaces and I knew exactly what tile/fixtures/cabinets etc I wanted I still was appreciative of her insight on certain details and choices. It was very easy to collaborate with her. She makes an effort to be in-tune with a client. She was very responsive and took care of everything that needed attention as soon as she was able too. She made sure that I was listened to and taken care of as a client with her subcontractors. I would work with her again.
Leaving a long overdue review. Linda helped us remodel our bathroom and kitchen last year. We also did some flooring improvements, and some electrical and plumbing work along the way. The pricing was very reasonable, and we appreciated that Linda was always conscious of our budget, when we made adjustments to our plan. The work was delivered very quickly on promised timelines. She had some really good suggestions around the choice of flooring, which we are thankful for (especially looking back after a year). Also appreciate her sense of style.. it helped us make the right choices for countertops, tiles and fixtures. It all looks great, our guests often comment on how beautiful our kitchen looks. Thank you!
Linda and her team did an excellent job! We would highly recommend them. We hired her for a kitchen remodel and asked for a very tight timeline. She delivered and we absolutely love the result. She was very commutative and available to us. Thank you Design and Build NW!
Tell us about the room, surface, cabinets, sink opening, and finish you want. During the first days after you reach out, we’ll review the job details and outline the information needed for a countertop quote.

A kitchen update may leave the cabinets in place while the worktop needs a new fit. Sink openings, appliance spaces, wall contact, and edge details must match the planned layout. We review those points with you, then prepare the scope for removal, cabinet preparation, fitting, and finishing.
A countertop that moves near the sink can signal weak cabinet support or damage below the cutout. The visible gap may not show the full issue. We inspect the surface, cabinet base, sink opening, and nearby seams before explaining whether repair or replacement suits the room.
A commercial client may need a worn work surface replaced while keeping the room’s layout useful. Access, work-area protection, sink placement, and handover details shape the plan. We review how the space is used, document the required work, and prepare a quote around the actual site conditions.
